Private Equity Services

We partner closely with private equity and venture capital firms as part of their due diligence process. When considering an acquisition target or potential merger, the Bridges team supports partners by assessing target management teams, understanding cultural strengths and pain points, and assisting with ongoing change management and integration.

  • Our due diligence assessments provide a crisp evaluation of the management team and their ability to scale.

Candidates complete personality and cognitive testing and a behavioral interview. We also gather 360 data from their peers in our discussions.

Post-deal close, the diligence assessment is used to accelerate leadership growth. Each leader has a coaching session in which they receive testing themes, discuss new approaches, and create a development plan.

  • We conduct candid, confidential conversations with each leader’s 360-degree colleagues. The output includes direct-report perceptions, what’s working, what’s not, and gets a head start on any issues.

This data is shared with PE and each participant. It goes beyond problem identification to concrete action steps.

There are specific times in the company’s life cycle where 360 makes a difference.

    • Paralleling new CEO appointment

    • During significant leadership changes

    • Prior to mergers and acquisitions

    • For high-potential development

    • In sync with succession management

    • In response to serious issues

  • Our annual process with portfolio companies keeps a pulse on the leadership team and organizational dynamics. We debrief the feedback with PE sponsors and the management team.

To drive momentum and accountability, we often meet with the team quarterly to check in on goals.

  • A portfolio company’s exit is a unique opportunity to gather feedback on their PE experience. After the event, we meet with management team members of your choice and ask about the following:

    • What they appreciated most about PE sponsorship

    • Opportunities for improvement

    • Advice to incoming portfolio companies

  • If you don't see what you are looking for reflected here, please reach out, and we can discuss additional options.
